Have a Toy Drive

Organize your own toy drive – at your office, school, church, club, neighborhood, etc. It’s an easy, inexpensive and fun way to give back to the community.

You and your colleagues can share your holiday spirit by hosting a toy drive.
Details are below – a wish list and some suggestions for logistics. Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity!
* We need to collect your toys so volunteers can sort/tag them before The Shop opens.

  • Ready, set, go! Have a Power Toy Drive – announce and promote the drive, then choose 1 or 2 days as Denver Santa Claus Shop Days.
  • When planning Holiday activities, ask people to bring a new toy as “admittance”.
  • Encourage friendly competition between other groups, departments, etc.
  • Give incentives for donating a new toy – discounts, jeans day; free dessert in café
  • Urge suppliers, customers or clients to have a toy drive, too
  • You may find it more fun to collect money and then set up a group shopping day for new toys
  • However your organization chooses to support The Denver Santa Claus Shop, get creative, have fun and THANK YOU!!
